Stephen Farrant is a sustainability and responsible business consultant, non-executive director, and executive coach.

With clients from a range of different sectors, he helps organisations to re-think, re-connect and re-purpose their strategy for the 2020s.

He currently serves on the Board of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, the Environment Advisory Panel for SGN, and the Climate and Ecology Commission for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

With over 15 years of experience enabling businesses to work on climate, sustainability and innovation, he started his career in the early 1990s at British Airways. Before setting up his own consulting and advisory business in 2019, he was Director of Sustainability and Innovation at Business in the Community (one of the Prince of Wales’ leading charities) where among other things he established the Circular Economy Taskforce, the Toolkit for Purpose-Driven Brands, and the Responsible Business Tracker.

Steve is also an occasional volunteer with the Restoring Hardknott Forest project, and with Thames 21. He is an Ambassador for the Western Front Way, and holds both British and French citizenship.
